Tsokar , Thugke gompa, The Tsomoriri Lake is a beautiful mountain bounded expanse of water, around 240 Kms, from Leh in Rupsho Valley. The Lake is located at 14,000 ft. near a small village of Korzok.Tanglang La, Puga, Chumathang, Khardung La pass (18380ft), Megnatic hill, confluence of Indus and Zanskar river, Lamayuru, the oldest monastery, Alchi monastery famous for its painting, Khardung La Pass (18380ft), monasteries around Indus valley and places around Leh are the highlights of this package. The package is available for any date from mid May till end of October.

Day 01 :- Delhi – Leh
Arrival at Leh airport, to be received by our representative and transfer to our pre-arranged hotel. Lunch will be served at 2.00 PM, after lunch visit Leh Market, Leh Palace and Shanti Stupa. Overnight Atisha Guest House.

Day 02 :- Leh-Hemis (43 kms.)
Full day of sightseeing, visiting the three most important monasteries of Ladakh – Hemis Gompa, Thiksey Gompa and Shey Palace. Hemis is one of the largest and wealthiest monasteries in Ladakh and houses about 150 monks; it also stages the annual Hemis festival. On the way back to Leh, we visit the superbly situated, 16th century, Thiksey Gompa, which is perched on a hill top. Last stop is the ruined Shey Palace, once the summer palace of the pre-Tibetan kings. The palace monastery houses a large, bronze, blue haired Buddha statue. Back to Leh guest House for dinner and overnight.

Day 03 :- Leh – Chumathang – Tsomriri
In the morning leave for Chumathang stop, which is famous for medical hot spring and people visit to this place for medical bath. From here a short drive will take you to Mahey bridge, the main checking point to enter to this new area. On the way visit Sumdah village and another 55 kms drive will take you to Tsomoriri. The Tsomoriri Lake is a beautiful mountain bounded expanse of water, around 240 Kms. from Leh in Rupsho Valley. The Lake is located at 14,000 ft. near a small village of Korzok. Recently opened to foreigners due to the proximity of the Chinese boarder, the Changthang is a land of wilderness and magnificent landscapes. This region is characterized by high arid plains, remote villages, snow-capped peaks and beautiful high altitude azure-blue lakes, the largest being Tsomoriri at 4,500 m. The Tsomoriri Lake is also the breeding ground for numerous species of birds, like the bar headed goose, crested grebe, the Brahmini duck (ruddy sheldrake) and the brown-headed gull. The Tsomorir Lake is 8 kms wide and 28 kms long. Upon arrival we check in at our camp for Overnight stay

Day 04 :- Tsomriri – Puga – Tsokar – Tanglangla – Leh
You will proceed towards Puga Valley, famous for Butan gas. Thereafter, you will continue towards Tsokar via Polokongka pass (at 13500 ft.). After visiting the Tsokar Lake, you can also see Thugke gompa. The place is quite known for wild Asses, seen grazing and moving in flocks. From here, you will drive towards Leh. On the way, you will stop to Tanglangla pass, the second highest motorable pass in the world at 5350 m. we drive back to Leh and check in at our guest house night stay.

Lamayuru to Chilling Trek
DAY 05 :- LEH / LAMAYURU / SHILLA:- Early morning drive to Lamayuru – 130 km. Visit Lamayuru monastery then start trek to Shilla, crossing Printiki-la (3900m). Trek time – 4 hours

DAY  06 :- SHILLA / HINJU:- After visiting Wanla monastery and Tharchita Brukbukza and Phanjilla villages, we arrive at Hinju village. Overnight in Camp. Trekking time:- 6 hours.

DAY 07 :- HINJU / EAST BASE OF KUNGSKI LA:- Today’s trek is a bit hard, as you have to climb a pass called Kungski-La (4400m). From the top of this pass, one can see Hinju village on one side and Sumdo village on the other. Trekking time:- 6 hours.

DAY 08 :- EAST BASE OF KUNGSKI LA / WEST BASE OF DUNDUNCHAN-LA:- Today we have some river crossings enroute to Sumdo village. We will also across a small pass. We will be camping at Dundun Chan Larcha. Trekking time:- 6 hours.

DAY 09 :- DUNDUN CHAN-LA BASE / CHILLING:- Dundun Chan-la is 3950 meters, and the trek is easy and very scenic. One can see even Khardong La pass across the valley. The campsite will be at Chillin. This village has goldsmiths famous for local golden jewelry, and it is said that the gold comes from the local mines. Overnight in camp. Trekking time:- 7 hours.

Third part of the journey……..

Day 10 :- Rafting from Chilling to Nemo. Drive back to Leh overnight in Guest House.

Day 11 :- After having breakfast clients are free for day shopping and for dinner and celebration we will gather at one of the famous Restaurant and bar called Leh-Chen.

Day 12 :- Leh to Delhi.
